Why Fleets Choose Inspiration Fleet

Most fleet programs make you choose between a vendor's ecosystem and your own. Inspiration Fleet is built around yours.

Running a Fleet in Orlando

Local conditions shape how a fleet program is built here. Three matter more than most.

Two utilities, two different measuring sticks

Both Orlando Utilities Commission and Duke Energy Florida serve parts of this metro, and which one serves a given depot depends on the address. On OUC’s general service demand schedule the charge is $12.00 per kW, billed on the maximum fifteen-minute demand in the period. On Duke Energy Florida’s equivalent it is $8.08 per kW, billed on the maximum thirty-minute demand. Different price and a different averaging window — and a longer window is more forgiving of a short charging spike.

A demand floor whether you use it or not

OUC’s minimum bill is the customer charge plus a demand charge of not less than 25 kW, so a site pays for that capacity whether it draws it or not. Its on-peak window also moves with the season: 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on weekdays from November through March, and 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays from April through October. A depot that charges overnight sits outside both.

Tolls price by axle, and plate billing doubles them

The Central Florida Expressway Authority bills by axle count. At the John Young main plaza a two-axle vehicle pays $1.72 with a transponder and a five-axle combination $3.78. Pay By Plate is exactly double the transponder rate at every main plaza on the authority’s published chart. Across a fleet running untagged, that is a straight administrative leak rather than a cost of doing business.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Inspiration Fleet manages commercial fleets based in Orlando and throughout Central Florida. Services are delivered through our fleet management platform, our vendor network, and our fleet specialists, not through a branch you need to visit.

No. Inspiration Fleet’s platform is an open ecosystem. You keep the vendors that work for you and we integrate their data, or we recommend partners if you want a change.

A fleet management company manages an organization’s vehicles across their lifecycle so the organization can focus on its core business. Inspiration Fleet plans the fleet, acquires and finances vehicles, manages maintenance, telematics, drivers, fuel, and tolls, and remarkets vehicles at the end of their economic life, with the data from all of it in one platform. That is a managed service, not a software subscription.

Inspiration Fleet is built for fleet-intensive organizations across Central Florida. That includes hospitality and attractions support fleets moving crews and equipment around the clock; distribution and last-mile fleets working the I-4 corridor; construction fleets keeping pace with sustained regional growth; HVAC, plumbing, and electrical field service fleets that need technicians on site and parts on the truck; and healthcare systems, universities, and public-sector fleets that answer to procurement rules as much as to operations.

Inspiration Fleet manages commercial fleets of any composition, from light-duty cars and vans to work trucks and specialty vehicles, for organizations in industries such as construction, field services, healthcare, distribution, higher education, and professional services.

Inspiration Fleet is built for organizations that operate fleets at scale and want a full-service partner rather than a set of point solutions. If your organization manages dozens or hundreds of vehicles, speak with a fleet expert and we will tell you quickly whether we are the right fit.

Fleet Management Coverage in Orlando, Florida

Nationwide Platform, Orlando Focus

Inspiration Fleet manages commercial fleets across Orlando and Central Florida, from initial assessment through full-scale program management, with dedicated project management and ongoing operational support.

There is no commercial EV charger rebate to chase in this market. OUC’s published business rebate catalogue covers heating, cooling, storage, insulation, and duct work, and its only electric vehicle line is residential. That makes the value here entirely a matter of rate election and depot design rather than grant capture — which is a decision made once, at the design stage, by someone who reads tariffs. We handle that groundwork as part of the program and show the whole fleet in one view.

Areas served: Orlando and Central Florida, including Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Lake, and Brevard counties, Florida.
