Christy Freer

Christy Freer is the General Counsel at Inspiration Mobility. In her role, Christy uses her extensive expertise in asset-backed financing and related disciplines to further Inspiration’s mission of decarbonizing fleets through EV financing, leasing, and charging solutions.   

 Christy brings to the table over 20 years of experience in advising companies throughout their life cycles, from startups to established top 10 banking institutions. She previously served as Lead Corporate Counsel at Plaid, and Assistant General Counsel, Capital Markets at Capital One, and was also part of the structured finance groups at Mayer Brown and Orrick, respectively.  She holds a J.D. from Georgetown and is a featured speaker on legal team effectiveness (particularly through tech utilization) and organizational change management.
