Fareha Ahmed

Fareha Ahmed is the SVP of Operations at Inspiration Mobility. At Inspiration, Fareha is the driving force behind scaling and optimizing the end-to-end operational engine of the business, furthering Inspiration’s mission. 

Fareha brings a distinctive blend of global experience and private-sector expertise built across more than two decades of work spanning international development, public health, and clean energy. She began her career at the National Democratic Institute, where she led governance and democracy programs across the U.S. and East Africa. She went on to spend nearly a decade at Population Services International, where she helped start what has now become Viya Health, a company built within PSI to expand access to reproductive health services. It was there that Fareha first encountered the kind of operational complexity that would define her career; building systems, teams, and processes in high-stakes environments with limited resources and real consequences. 

That experience became her edge. Pivoting to the private sector, Fareha quickly established a reputation for operational excellence and cross-functional leadership. Before joining Inspiration, she worked at Arcadia and Cortex Building Intelligence, focused on operations, product integration, and go-to-market in the clean energy and sustainability space.  

Fareha holds a Master’s degree from American University.
